1、 How to distinguish leather shoes external sole quality?
　　The material for leather shoes external sole includes urethane、 modified PVC etc. Bend-resistant, wearproof performance and hardness of external sole are stipulated in national leather shoes industry criterion; they will be measured by using bend-resistant and wearproof experimental machine or hardness meter. When choose shoes, use fingers to press sole, it should has elasticity; use hands to pull sole to see if there are some fallings; the sole which is soft when bending is good.

2、 What's the function of leather shoes steel core? How to distinguish its quality?
　　Every man or woman leather shoe has one steel core
(except flattie and slop-heel shoes); the steel core is installed between external sole and middle sole in arch part, it is the back of shoes, has the function to keep sole radian and stabilize heel; it is more important to middle-heel and high-heel shoes. Anti-bending rigidity and hardness etc performance indexes are stipulated in leather shoes steel core criterion. When buy shoes, you can use moderate force to press arch part on shoes to see whether there are some distortion or it is soft; if you find heel is askew after wearing the shoes ( not for heel being nailed insecure), or shoes arch is empty or not suitable, you cna inspect whether the steel core has broken; if broken and the shoes are in 'Three-guarantee Period', shoes can be replaced.

3、Why do leather shoes deglue?
　 It is common that leather shoes upper and sole unglue for not agglutinating fast. There are many reasons for ungluing, the main are factory choosing improper improper material and technics. Leather shoes agglutination condition is controlled by using peeling intensity indexes, these indexes are measured by peeling experimental machine. When choose shoes, you should check upper and sole agglutination points to see whether upper and sole are fast, and whether there are some ungluing; when wearing, you must pay attention to leather shoes water-preventing, because leather shoes are easy to unglue after meeting water.

4、 Is it reliable to use cardboard to make inner sole?
　　In the past, leather shoes insole is made by using pig or cattle inner base leather to manufacture; now for natural leather resource is reduced, much replaced material are used to replace some natural material; such as cardboard for insole is widely used at home and abroad. Good quality cardboard for insole should has qualified moisture absorption performance、 ventilation、 layer peeling intensity、 anti-avulsion、 stable dimensions. If shoes being worn for some days, the insole cardboard part、 shrink, distort, harden; it belongs quality unqualified.

5、 What's the quality requirements to main heel and wrapping-head ?
　　The main heel is in the connecting part of back-upper and sole; the wrapping-head is in the front head of leather shoes; they are designed for keeping leather shoes not deform; they should be installed between vamp and shoes lining. Use thumb to press wrapping-head to see whether it is soft or deforming; use thumb and forefinger to press the 2/3 under part of main heel to see whether it is soft or deforming; it will be qualified that size and height are same.

6、 How to inspect the inside of shoes ?
　　Use hands to touch the inside of leather shoes, see whether there are some disfigurement to influence shoes wearing; such as whether insole is shorter than the shoes、 whether shoes lining is level, whether there are some nail tips inside shoes or nail-tail isn't level.

7、 Why do some leather shoes change color or turn dim after brushing shoeshine?
　　Two reasons to cause this kind of phenomena：
　　1. Quality problem of shoeshine: if the solvent of shoeshine can destroy upper leather coat, it will cause upper change color and turn dim.
　　2. There is a kind of leather ( its popular name is 'oil-leather'), which belongs to high-level product, has very thin coat, good sanitary performance, and strong absorption and penetrability; if shoeshine has some quality problems, or is brushed on shoes upper directly, the oil-touching point will form stain; besides dropping some ink or hair dyeing agent、 gasoline on shoes upper will cause pollution; so you should pay more attention when wear this kind of leather shoes.

8、 How to authenticate leather shoes quality
A、 vamp (upper)： varnish leather shoes should be soft、 has comfortable handle and consistent luster; don't loose surface. Fur surface should be short and even with even luster.

B、 Shoes lining is one part of upper, it is used to improve extending distortion of upper surface and feet feeling; it should has good tactility、 ventilation and moisture absorption performance, isn't easy to decolor; wrinkle and redundant edge are forbidden.

C、 Insole： insole should be clean to improve feet feeling, has good tactility、 ventilation and moisture absorption performance; be level to adhere on insole; can't be cockled and suspending.

D、 External sole ： the combining state around external sole should be close agglutinate、 has no interspace; the underside should be level. 

E、 Heel： nature and straight.

F、 Side face inspection ： The contact point of external sole ( half sole ) and plane should be in the middle part, the tip should has proper warp (2-3mm), heel should be flat.

J、 Back inspection： heel and back suture should be straight.

H、 A pair of leather shoes： the length、 height, luster and form of a pair of shoes should be the same.
